Lady Gaga is back in the studio teasing all of us about what is to come in her next era.
The superstar, 38, hinted at her upcoming era in an Instagram post on Thursday, July 18, as she shared photos of herself in front of a studio microphone, sporting black shades.
"Just me in the studio—happy as ever making music 🖤🕶️💋🎶 feel so grateful, heart is peaceful. It’s like meditation. I can’t wait for you to hear what I’m working on" – Lady Gaga via Instagram pic.twitter.com/vsw5tqOVh9

“Just me in the studio—happy as ever making music 🖤🕶️💋🎶,” she captioned the post. “Feel so grateful, heart is peaceful. It’s like meditation. I can’t wait for you to hear what I’m working on.” she further added, hyping us all up for what is to come.
According to PEOPLE, Gaga is thrilled about her upcoming project, and she has “never been happier” with her music, “She’s feeling the most creative she’s ever been,” they added.
It’s been nearly three years since Gaga released a new studio album. Her last album was 2021’s Love for Sale with the late Tony Bennett.
Since then, she has only released the solo single “Hold My Hand” for the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack in 2022 and collaborated with The Rolling Stones on “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” in 2023.
Gaga previously revealed her plans for new music back in May during a Q&A at the Los Angeles premiere of her HBO concert special, Gaga Chromatica Ball, where she teased her next studio album, dubbed LG7, at the end of her concert film.
“I am in the studio every single day. I have written so many songs, I’ve been producing so many songs, and it’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before,” Gaga said. “I love to break genre, and I love to explore music.”
Lady Gaga’s recent music update comes just weeks after she concluded her Jazz & Piano residency in Las Vegas on July 6, after 48 shows. During her penultimate concert, she dedicated the performance to her boyfriend, Michael Polansky.
According to Billboard, Gaga told the crowd that she and her band will “do it again” and return to Vegas with a “brand-new show.”
