June has been a rather stacked month for manga as the latest tankōbon volumes of the old and new beloved Jump series’ have dropped this week such as One Piece, SPYxFAMILY, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Oricon has finally released their chart for the best-selling manga volumes for the first week of June and it’s already been quite insane.
According to Oricon, Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 16 took the first spot with an insane 1.165 million copies sold within the first five days of its release. Volume 16 had an impressive initial first print of 2 million copies. Meanwhile, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series sold 1.51 million copies during this week.
One Piece Volume 99 took the second spot this week selling 1.051 million copies. And, both SPYxFAMILY and Kaiju No. 8 continue to blow everyone’s expectations away even without an anime adaptation as SPYxFAMILY Volume 7 opened up with 498,984 copies while Kaiju No. 8 Volume 3 sold 318,973 copies.

Shueisha did a clean sweep taking the first five positions with Dr. Stone Volume 21 claiming the fifth spot selling 106,819 copies. As for other Jump titles, Ayakashi Triangle Volume 4 sold 34,241 copies while Witch Watch Volume 1 sold 15,480 copies and got an immediate reprint. Sakamoto Days Volume 2 sold 13,560 copies while Magu-chan Volume 4 and Build King Volume 2 sold 5,898 and 3,588 copies respectively.
Snow White with the Red Hair and Owari no Seraph were also among the June volumes that managed to get a spot in the Top 10 manga volumes of the week.
