Musk, Who Previously Called Diddy His “Good Friend,” Slams Eminem’s Support for Kamala Harris, Labels Longtime Diddy Critic as ‘Diddy Party Participant’

Elon Musk has expressed his discontent over Eminem’s public support for Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election. After Eminem introduced former President Barack Obama at a Detroit rally, Musk took to social media to make a surprising comment about the rapper.

In yet another one of his outrageous statements, Musk referred to Eminem as “yet another Diddy party participant,” an apparent jab at both Eminem and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

His comment comes as a shock to everyone, considering it is The Real Slim Shady rapper who has always been a vocal critic of Diddy, while Elon Musk has publicly referred to the latter as his “good friend.”

“I don’t know if you know this, but Puff is an investor in Twitter,” Musk said in the book Character Limit. “You know, he’s a good friend of mine. We text a lot.”

Meanwhile, there’s little to support Musk’s accusation. In 2018, on his song “Killshot,” Eminem accused the Bad Boy founder of putting out a hit on 2Pac: “Kells, the day you put out a hit is the day Diddy admits that he put the hit out that got Pac killed.”

Even on his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), Eminem took several shots at Diddy. On the track “Fuel,” Eminem once again addressed the long-standing rumors surrounding Diddy’s involvement in the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., pulling no punches with lines like, “Notorious B.I.G.’s death was the domino effect of Tupac’s murder / Like facial tissue, whose clock should I clean next? Puff’s?”

Just two years ago, the SpaceX CEO was also a loud and proud fan of Eminem.

Eminem officially endorsed Kamala Harris for president, declaring his support in front of an energized crowd at a rally in Detroit on Tuesday.

The rapper, known for his sharp critiques of former President Donald Trump, also introduced former President Barack Obama on stage at the event. As Obama took the microphone, he lightheartedly quoted the lyrics to Eminem’s famous track “Lose Yourself,” much to the delight of the audience.

“I’ve done a lot of rallies, so I don’t usually get nervous,” Obama said, playfully adding, “But I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem.” He then recited a variation of the iconic lines from the rapper’s 2002 hit, saying, “Now I notice my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. Vomit on my sweater already, mom’s spaghetti. I’m nervous, but on the surface, I look calm and ready.” The crowd roared as the spirited former president channeled the song.
