Demon Slayer Season 2 really pushed the boundaries of television animation this season and delivered orgasm-worthy production value episode after episode featuring some of the most remarkable action scenes ever seen in a TV anime.
The series is a cultural phenomenon in Japan and is also wildly popular worldwide. Demon Slayer is in the second spot on our poll with over 2,050 votes.
Escalating the stakes by tenfolds in the final season, Attack on Titan Season 4 depicts a haunting portrayal of racism, humanity, and the cycle of violence. With stakes higher than ever, confrontations that are bone-chilling and Isayama’s genius storytelling displaying an intricately woven concept where each plot point acts as a node knitting the story together. This season has been a culmination of the last nine years, and the anime is nothing less than a masterpiece.
Part 2 of Attack on Titan Season 4 came to an end on April 3rd with the 87th episode of the series and is currently the 3rd Best Anime of 2022, according to our readers, garnering over 1,300 votes.
One Piece still continues to be insanely popular and incredibly consistent (huge credits to Toei Animation for delivering just about every week) and has kept on reeling in new fans with it. The anime is in the fourth spot, with over 1,250 votes.
Our Readers vote My Dress-Up Darling as the Best Romance Anime of 2022.
My Dress-Up Darling is the first romance anime on the list and is in the 5th spot with over 650 votes. The series was the biggest new hit of the Winter 2022 anime season, and during that time, Marin Kitagawa had the entire weeb community in her chokehold.
The series was a huge commercial success in Japan, with the first BD/DVD disc of My Dress-Up Darling selling over 10,000 copies, pulling one of the most significant numbers for a romance anime within the last decade. The anime was also wildly popular in streaming, and the manga is now going head-to-head with Kaguya-sama: Love is War in terms of per volume sales. My Dress-Up Darling has also left Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 behind on our poll, with the latter taking the 6th spot, garnering over 500 votes.
Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 is probably the best season of the anime so far and has further established the series as a modern classic. The anime aired the final episode of Season 3 last week and is currently the Highest-Rated Anime on MyAnimeList.
Komi Can’t Communicate Season 2 is right behind Kaguya-sama: Love is War with over 350 votes. Meanwhile, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is also amongst the Top 10 in this list, which hardly comes as a surprise knowing just how popular the Naruto successor is.
