Top 10 Most Streamed Songs of 2024 So Far in the USA: Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” Leads the Pack

While Taylor Swift has been breaking all sorts of records when it comes to album sales, be it digital or vinyl, when it comes to streaming, Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” has emerged as the Most-Streamed Song during the first half of 2024 in the United States, according to data tracking firm Luminate.

With 448.7 million on-demand audio streams, Boone’s breakout hit “Beautiful Things”, released via Night Street/Warner Records, has topped the charts for the Most-Streamed Songs of the First Half of 2024.

Beautiful Things was released on January 18, 2024, as the lead single of Boone’s debut studio album, Fireworks & Rollerblades (2024) and became the singer’s first top 40 hit on the weekly Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 2 in March. The song is co-written by Boone with Jack LaFrantz and Evan Blair and produced by the latter.

Benson Boone’s debut album hit the shelves in April and debuted at number six on the Billboard 200, as the album closed in on 58,000 album equivalent units in the U.S. during its first week.

Zach Bryan’s “I Remember Everything,” featuring Kacey Musgraves (437.3 million), and Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” (409.7 million) followed close behind and are the Second and Third Most-Streamed Songs of 2024 so far, respectively.

The Top 10 for the year so far also features Kendrick Lamar, Hozier, and Metro Boomin, with Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” which is currently atop the Billboard Hot 100, taking the sixth spot on the list, amassing over 362 million streams in the United States.

According to Luminate, total on-demand audio streams in the United States increased by 8% year-over-year, reaching 665.8 billion in the first six months of 2024 compared to 616.5 billion in the same period in 2023.

User-generated content (UGC) streams are included in Luminate’s streaming volume numbers and midyear streaming song charts. However, UGC streams are not factored into Billboard’s weekly charts.
