Superheroes have dominated the mainstream media for the majority of the last decade, be it on Television or in the Theatres. And while the audiences and fans might all be feeling the superhero fatigue these days, over the last decade or so, we have been treated with some enthralling action, some standout and memorable stories that left a long-lasting impression, and some very iconic portrayals of our comic-book favorites.

What originally started from Smallville’s success on The WB branched out to the creation of the Arrowverse on The CW, and even saw Netflix starting its own Marvel Universe almost a decade ago with Daredevil, and now we have superhero shows on Disney+ that cost upwards of $100 million per season and even the likes of Matt Reeves are telling their own comic-book stories on television and expanding on their cinematic multiverse.

While some of these shows haven’t always delivered quality television season after season and have been inconsistent, they most certainly had some epic moments which had us going absolutely gaga back when they aired.

From Manu Bennett’s Deathstroke’s final showdown with Oliver Queen on an action-packed finale of Arrow’s Second Season to the emotionally charged encounter between Barry and his mom on The Flash’s Fast Enough, we have witnessed some truly remarkable episodes of Superhero Television. And who can forget the sheer insanity that was The Boys’ Herogasm?

It should be noted that we have only selected live-action superhero shows, as the animated ones probably deserve a poll of their own. We have also excluded the crossover events in favor of standalone episodes from these shows because we are all probably aware of just how insanely good and ambitious those CW events used to be, and they were always more of a TV Movie rather than standalone episodes.
